In 2012, artist Hannah Dale launched her brand Wrendale Designs, inspired by the glorious Lincolnshire countryside. Her gorgeous watercolour artworks were first featured on greeting cards, but her adorably whimsical paintings proved to be very popular, and can now be found on products from bags to stationary! Our Wrendale Designs collection is a beloved part of our store, and here in this blog post, we want to share the charm of her brand with you!
A recent arrival in store are our gorgeous 2026 Wrendale calendars. We have six types in store; four slim wall calendars, a larger landscape calendar, and a cute desk calendar. These calendars feature some of Dale's most popular artwork, from feline friends to British wildlife, so we're sure you'll find the perfect one for you no matter your taste! The desk calendar is a particular favourite with us, and is a great choice if you work from the office or home to keep your life organised. Our slim calendars are £8.00, the landscape is £10.00, and the desk calendar is £12.00, so they also make a great affordable Christmas gift for the animal lover in your life!
A very popular option in our Wrendale collection is their gorgeous range of notebooks. They come in sizes from a tiny A6 to a much larger A4, perfect for any scribbles or note-taking, and in both a sturdy board paper and hardback spiral ring. We also have an adorable range of shopping pads with magnets attached, so you can pop it on your fridge and keep track of what you need. We think the A6 size in particular will make a fantastic stocking filler, and the cute animal designs will appeal to anyone of any age! This wouldn't be a blog post about Wrendale without mentioning their adorable soft toy range! These cuddly friends make the perfect gift for anyone who loves animals. Each character has their own name and personality, which is revealed on their tags, which adds so much charm to these plushes. Most of the designs come in a large and junior size (the junior being smaller, perfect for little hands!). Each of the toys are based off an existing Hannah Dale illustration, so why not try and find some matching products in the Wrendale collection? (Hint: many of our Wrendale cards feature these cute animals!) This is also only a tiny selection of animal friends we have in store, so definitely pop in to see what else we have for you!
If anyone gets Wrendale socks for Christmas, we highly doubt they would complain! Our lovely collection of socks are made from bamboo, making them incredibly soft and durable, and as always, have a gorgeous animal pattern. They are one-size, in both women's and men's sizes, and come in a lovely free gift bag. And speaking of Christmas, we have recently had a delivery of Christmas Wrendale socks, featuring festive robins, bunnies and mice. These also come in a gift bag, featuring a beautiful robin design. There's no need to have boring socks for Christmas anymore, so we say treat your feet!
