Summer is finally here! We've got a fantastic selection of summer scents at Bigwicks, from refreshing citruses to fruity fragrances. If you want to see what we've got in store for this scorching season, this blog post will have you covered.
Citronella
Citronella is a must for summer. It both keeps flies at bay, and has a lovely citrus smell to boot! This Maison Berger Citronella Bouquet is our staff pick for this season, and is certainly an upgrade from a regular citronella candle. Blended with eucalyptus, jasmine, verbena, and of course citronella, this reed diffuser is a lovely lemony treat for your home.
Candles
Yankee Candles have been a staple in our store for many years, and their popularity is yet to fade! These two scents really remind us of lazing by the pool with a cocktail. Calamansi cocktail perfectly replicates it's namesake, with top notes of lemon zest and kumquat that are perfectly complimented by the mid notes of pepper, green mandarin and grapefruit. The scent concludes with base notes of patchouli leaves and blonde cedar, creating a beautiful summer fragrance. Meanwhile, Alfresco Afternoon embodies an outdoor picnic, with woody and aromatic notes of juniper, conifer leaves, and eucalyptus.
Another signature pick are our WoodWick candles! With a crackling wick, these candles create a cosy atmosphere, evoking memories of summer campfires. Coastal sunset features blossom notes, with a coconut and salty sea air base, perfectly capturing summer evenings. Island Coconut blends juicy pineapple with sweet coconut, and smells like a gorgeous cocktail!
Bath Products
If you're a fan of fruity citrus scents, Bomb Cosmetics has you covered! Their Squeeze the Day soap sponge is a great 2 in 1 product, perfect after a day on the beach. Wax Melts
It seems Freckleface has scents for any season! Their Christmas range proved to be hugely popular, and so have their summer scents! Pictured in the melt burner are Coconut and Sea Salt, Bergamot Verbena and Sea Breeze, all of which are wonderfully refreshing. Freckleface melts can last for up to 20 hours, and have an amazing throw, so your home will be a tropical paradise!
