We can't believe we're actually saying this, but Halloween season has started! (Yes, really!) Halloween has already begun at Bigwicks with the arrival of the spooky new Jellycat range for 2024! We're super excited and we sure you will be too when you see the fantastic array of new characters from Jellycat!

Here's a peek into what makes Jellycat's Halloween collection so enchanting this year.

This year we have some familiar faces returning, alongside some really imaginative new designs. Returning favourites include Pumpkin Bartholomew, Amuseable Pumpkin, Ooky Bat and Ooky Jack O'Lantern.

It's the new additions though that really shine in this years Halloween collection. A firm staff favourite is the Vivavcious Aubergine Vampire. This hilarious character is a fantastic twist on the usual Vivacious Vegetable Aubergine, with added red-lined cape, tied at the front with black cord. He also has tiny vampire fangs! This one really did make us chuckle!

Skeleton Bob is a returning favourite this year, but Jellycat have also brought him back as a bag charm too! So now you can carry him with you wherever you go. 

Knowing the popularity of Skeleton Bob, Jellycat have launched some new animal friends for him. Joining us for 2024 are Skelebat Jim and Skeledog Dan! Skelebat Jim has stiffened, outstretched wings with white suedette details. Similarly, Skeledog Dan is a ghostly pup with a soft white skull and chunky black nose. He's the perfect canine companian for Skeleton Bob!

Now every Halloween party needs costumes, and Skeleton Bob has chosen his! This year Bob is back as Mummy Bob! Mummy Bob has soft cream bandages and stitching details and if you look closely you'll see Bob's shiny eyes peeking through the layers. 

Another returning favourite who loves a costume is Bartholomew Bear! He's back in his pumpkin attire this year, but he also has another costume! Bartholomew Bear Bat is the classic tufty toffee bear design but with a black bat-eared cape!

Halloween isn't Halloween without some creepy crawlies and Jellycat have a unique talent for making creepy into cuddly. This year sees a new addition to the Ooky range- Ooky Spider! This spider is anything but scary, in fact he's quite cute! This chocolate brown spider has wriggly legs that wrap around your fingers, a chunky fuzzy body, glossy eyes and a happy smile. 

If you love the essence of Halloween, but prefer a softer (quite literally!) approach to the season's traditional frights, Jellycat's Halloween collection is for you.
